All objects with a temperature higher than absolute zero are radiating infrared energy all the time, its surface temperature can be accurately tested by measuring the infrared radiation of the object itself.

The emissivity of the IR thermometer is adjustable, you can press the up and down button to adjust the emissivity from 0.1 to 1.00 according to your measurement requirements, the default emissivity is 0.95.

For the laser, the wave length is 650m, output less than 1mW, laser grade is class 2. Do not look into the laser, do not point laser directly at persons or animals or indirectly off reflective surface for security reasons.
